Makeup For Blue Green Eyes

As a makeup artist, the question I get asked most often is 'What colours will suit my eyes?'  The truth is that there are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers to this question.  Whatever colours you feel most comfortable with will 'suit' you, however with that said, there are colours that will make your eye colour pop.  If you're looking for makeup for blue green eyes, the video below is just one example on how to make your eye colour stand out.

How to decide what colours to choose

With so many options these days, it's understandable how a lot of women would just give up when it comes to wearing eye shadow.  Sometimes it can be really difficult when choosing makeup.  If you want your eye colour to stand out, pick colours that are on the opposite side of the colour wheel to your eye colour.  I wrote about this on another post here.  If you want your eyes to stand out in a subtle way, then wear colours that have either a tint (pastel versions) or a shade (darker versions) if your skin is darker.

Products Used

If you want your makeup to look flawless, pay particular attention on your skin prep.  This will help the makeup last longer, look smoother, and require little to no touch up (depending on your skin type).
