In this tutorial, I talk through a beautiful glamorous evening makeup for a sophisticated skin. Products used:
Eyes - Mac Cosmetics- Nude Cream Colour Base mixed with Painterly Paint Pot. The reason I used these two together is because Painterly dries very matte and if I used it by itself on a dry eye lid, any eye shadow I put on top will not blend and will look very patchy. Nude Cream Colour Base does not dry, it stays creamy but if I used that by itself it would cause the eye shadow to crease so by mixing the two together, you get the best of both worlds.
Mac Cosmetics - Naked Dark loose pigment. I didn't want this makeup to look too 'overdone' so the lighter colour on the lid is actually the same colour as her skin. By using that type of colour, it will help to smooth the other colours out, make it less dramatic, and add a little 'creaminess' to the eyes. Morphe Palette 'Grand Glam' colours in 'Frenchy', 'Brassy', & 'Mooch' which are all matte colours.
For the brow highlight, I used a face powder that matched her skin colour so there was nothing obvious under the brow. This gives a more natural appearance but still a little definition to the brows and helps to blend in the crease colours.
Inglot - Gel eyeliner. This product is the BEST eyeliner I have ever used! It is blacker than any product I have tried and it's waterproof. It needs to be removed with an oil based cleanser but it won't budge.
Brows - Mac Cosmetics - Spiked brow pencil. This product is great for definition. You can create individual hairs or fill them in if you prefer something a little more dramatic.
Mascara - Nouveau Lash Enhance Mascara. This product is fantastic for anyone with lash extensions because it is removable with water but it will not smudge or give you panda eyes. The water needs to be at a certain temperature before it will come off so even if it rains, you can be rest assured that it won't let you down. You can only get it through a lash extension technician that sells Nouveau Lash products, but I promise you will not be disappointed! I also added lash clusters. I like using these because you can put them anywhere on the eyes and add volume where you need it.
Foundation - Cover FX - Custom Cover Drops mixed with Resilience Lift moisturiser to give a sheer and dewy finish. This foundation is incredible. It's a foundation and concealer mixed in one and can be customised to whatever coverage you prefer. It is Vegan and super gentle for even the most sensitive skin.
Bare Minerals - Invisible Bronzer. I love this bronzer because it doesn't contain talc which usually irritates sensitive/damaged skin. It is almost impossible to add too much and always looks natural.
Lips - Mac Cosmetics lip liner in 'Naked Rose' and lipstick in 'Go Guava'
